Announcing the first BARMMAP event of 2011, TIPFEST #1!! This event will take place Friday night February the 11th at the legendary Broken Radio Studios, 1340 Mission Street in San Francisco. Past Event – The first BARMMAP Mix Show and Tell Event

The first BARMMAP event at Pyramind in San Francisco and the first of a planned series of community mixing meetups. The event has been built around a suggestion by Chris Porro that members of the BARMMAP community all get the same raw files to mix. This BARMMAP John Defiore will be offering a presentation exploring common perceptions and potential misconceptions of audio equipment (like does this fancy cable make a difference and how about wooden knobs? $100 converter and $1000 converter?), human listening anomalies, and more.
